We hereby guarantee that the diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the suppliers of these diamonds.

EXPLANATION FOR DIAMOND GRADING TERMS (The 4 C's)

SHAPE:

Round brilliant:
The 58 facets are cut to make the diamond round in appearance however the cut grade of a diamond has more to do with the sheer beauty and value of a diamond than any other factor, yet is the most difficult factor to grade because it requires the most amount of training, expertise and equipment.

Princess cut:
A diamond square modified brilliant. We are now getting a cut grade on all diamonds to assure the maximum amount of brilliance. You will see the difference!

Oval Brilliant:
Elliptically shaped, rounded on its ends. We insist that the light performance be listed with each diamond. The grading of fancy shaped diamonds is under revision. We will keep you updated with new changes.

Marquise:
A diamond cut of two lengths to one width, having pointed ends.

Please note that all diamond shaped have a unique look and we will be happy to explain how each differs form the other.

The cost you are invoiced at is guaranteed to be the lowest price in the industry for like quality diamonds or your account will be credited within 30 days. We guarantee any diamond purchased from Jewelers Resource when appraised by a qualified independent appraiser will be substantially higher in value than the cost you paid.

COLOR:

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has created a color scale. We use this scale when explaining the color of a diamond and how this affects its value. The letter "D" begins the Color Grading Scale and is the whitest, and rarest of all diamonds.

D/E/F
Colorless

G/H/I/J
Near Colorless

K/L/M
Faint Yellow

The higher the color of the diamond, as in D-G colors, the more rare the stone. Color adds value and beauty to the diamond.

CLARITY:

Clarity is the evaluation of a diamond's internal and external characteristics. Inclusions are internal, that is, inside the diamond. Blemishes are usually very small and are only on the surface of the diamond

A diamond viewed under ten times magnification to locate tiny characteristics. Then, evaluating the size, location, number and color of all inclusions and blemishes, a clarity grade from 0-10 is assigned. O represents a diamond that is Flawless. Every large diamond is plotted for clarity from the top (crown) and bottom (pavilion) views, with the table size (large top facet) printed on each grading document in its actual percentage dimension.

CARAT WEIGHT:

The fourth and final C is carat weight. Each carat is divided into points; each point represents 1/100th of a carat. In the final analysis, weight may be the least important of the four C's in determining value. Indeed, comparing the value of diamonds by weight is not always enhancing the value of a diamond. In fact, when a diamond is improperly cut, added weight may serve to only to reduce its brilliance.
